Spark cleanenergy 2016-2017 fellowship

About:

Spark Clean Energy’s Fellowship program trains the next generation of leaders in energy technology, policy, and business. Fellows emerge from the  program with the skills and connections they need to build community, start a business, and excel in the clean energy industry. Working alongside energy industry veterans, passionate student leaders, and community organizing experts, Fellows will build and support a strong student energy innovation ecosystem in their own community.

Description:

The mission of the Spark Clean Energy Fellow team is to empower the next generation of clean energy innovators and entrepreneurs. They will accomplish this on a local and national level by:

  • Forming regional teams of Fellows that partner to create inspirational and educational content that will be shared with the Spark Clean Energy network.
  • Promoting and attending student advancement programs and events.

The Spark Clean Energy Fellow has three primary roles:

Connector

Fellows must be positioned to connect teams to resources in the CleanTech and Energy community.

Advocate

Promote the teams to potential donors and peer institutions, awards or even for opportunities within Spark Clean Energy itself.

Content Creator

Each regional team of Fellows will be responsible for creating a webinar relating to a common problem entrepreneurs encounter or a valuable skill set.
